Hyperscaler Interruptible Grade Price Discovery

Method

• Prices come from Amazon EC2 Spot price history (Linux/UNIX), read through the EC2 API from CCIR's own account.
• Each series is one chip, one server and one zone. We never average across zones.
• Price per GPU is the server's spot price divided by its GPUs. Every server shown has 8 GPUs.
• The daily value is the time-weighted average price over the UTC day, 00:00 to 24:00. Each price counts for the time it was in effect. The price in effect at 00:00 carries in from the day before. Through Jun 26, 2026, US history uses the last price of each UTC day.
• Line and candles show daily values, as do prices, changes and map colors. The dotted line is the 7-day trailing average.
• A series whose price has not changed for 30 days or more is not shown.
• Servers: H100 is p5.48xlarge. H200 standard server is p5e.48xlarge and upgraded server is p5en.48xlarge. B200 is p6-b200.48xlarge, B300 is p6-b300.48xlarge and A100 is p4d.24xlarge (40GB).
• Places are CCIR's names for each region's metro. Zones are numbered Z1, Z2 and so on within each place, in zone ID order. The numbers do not change.
• Data is published one day late and updated daily. History starts Apr 26, 2026 in the US and late June elsewhere. Today: 98 series in 18 places.
