How We Publish
Who publishes the data, the independence it is published under, how the method can change, and how to question a number.
01 Publisher
CCIR data and research are published by Compute Credit Index Research LLC, a Delaware limited liability company formed March 11, 2026. Contact: research@ccir.io.
02 Independence
CCIR operates no marketplace, runs no trading desk, and holds no positions in the markets it measures. No revenue depends on the level of any published value. Data partners never buy placement, weight or influence over a published value. Raw contributions stay confidential, and only aggregates publish. CCIR measures prices. It does not value or rate any asset.
03 Versions and Changes
Every published row carries a methodology version. A change to collection, aggregation, panel rules or series definitions increments the version. Values are computed automatically. Nobody adjusts a published value by hand.
- Material changes are announced in the change log before they take effect, with the reason and the expected effect. A change is material when it would move a headline series' 30-day average by more than 10%.
- Defect fixes may take effect at once. The fix, its reason and its effect are logged.
- Restatements republish history in full under the current version. Prior snapshots stay retrievable in the data repository's history.
- Series breaks. When a change alters what a series measures, the old series ends and a new identifier begins. History is never redefined in place.
- Sources enter only through a panel version change. A source that stops publishing carries forward at its last good price for up to seven days, then leaves its cells.
04 Questions and Corrections
Anyone may question a published value or the treatment of a source by writing to research@ccir.io. We acknowledge substantive questions within five business days and answer them against the underlying observations and the published method. Where a question finds a defect, the correction and its outcome go in the change log.
